The event, which takes place from 16th to 20th october, is a gathering point for volunteer leaders from throughout the world and people who share a commitment to volunteering.

Are you a volunteer or are you committed to volunteering? The IAVE's world volunteer conference is your meeting point. This event works to create an environment that encourages networking, sharing of knowledge and continuous learning for all those who believe volunteering improves their communities and the lives of those who volunteer.

The conference will take place for the first time in the german town of Augsburg and its theme, 'Our Responsibility for the Global Future', highlights the collaboration that will bring solutions to the global challenges we face. The organizers see volunteering as a unifying force that enables us to pull together resources and commit the time and effort to bring about positive change in our communities.

Since the very first edition in 1970, the IAVE World Volunteer Conference has been a gathering point for volunteer leaders from throughout the world, for people who share a commitment to volunteering as a means to build understanding across borders through the active engagement of people in service to their communities, to their societies and to the world.

From 16th to 20th october, the attendants can enjoy plenary sessions, breakouts, forums and much more. If you are interested in it, you can have a look at the conference's program
