Amnesty International Catalonia launches Welcome Communities –Comunitats Acollidores, a miniseries that gives real examples of refugees who have started a good new life with the active help of locals.

This is a special year for Shelter, 50 years since we were founded in 1966. From day one, we have campaigned passionately to ensure that everyone in this country has a safe, secure, affordable home. And from day one, research has been central to this.

Researchers, policy makers and practitioners will meet in Nottingham at the 2016 Voluntary Sector and Volunteering Research Conference on 8-9th September.
