The project wants to structure and give voice to those young people willing to influence policy makers and local politics.

The negative effects of climate change have become more and more evident between young people. Global youth movements as ‘Fridays4future’ demonstrates that climate change is a major concern to younger generations, and they are willing to advocate for climate action.

It is in this context that the ‘Erasmus+EYES’ is created. A project lead by Ecoserveis that is aimed at engaging youth in sustainable energy planning. It implements an innovative method to encourage and facilitate the participation of young people in sustainable energy and climate planning at the local level in six countries: Denmark, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland and Spain.

To implement the ‘EYES’ project, each partner country will establish a network with local stakeholders to identify young people between 17 and 29 years of age interested in energy and climate planning, create a youth intervention team (YIT) who have a diverse background and ideology to promote the dialogue and mutual understanding and mobilize and train YIT members so that they can contribute to improve the local plans and seek ways to involve young people in the fight against climate change.
