'La Meva Energia', recognized as one of the most sustainable initiatives of Barcelona 2026

The webapp ' La Meva Energia ', developed by ABD , Ecoserveis and Bitgenoma as part of the Climate Ready Barcelona project , has been recognised as one of the most sustainable initiatives in the city in 2026. The tool, designed to support the Energy Advice Points (PAE) and guarantee the energy rights of people in vulnerable situations, has received one of the Agenda 2030 Barcelona + Sustainable 2026 Awards in the Prosperity category .

The distinction was announced on June 11 during the Climate Plan Conference , which recognized twelve initiatives that contribute to building a more sustainable city aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Citizen Commitment for a Sustainable Barcelona + 2024-2034 . The ABD, Ecoserveis and Bitgenoma team was present at the event to collect the award.

' La Meva Energia ' facilitates communication between PAE professionals and users, offering updated information on the status of procedures and promoting more autonomous management of supplies. The tool allows you to consult incidents, follow-up on procedures and essential energy information, contributing to reducing administrative barriers and strengthening the decision-making capacity of people in vulnerable situations.

The webapp is part of the Climate Ready Barcelona project , funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain, with the support of ICLEI Fund and Google.org . The overall objective of the project is to promote digital solutions that help the city adapt to climate change, strengthen urban resilience and ensure that the energy transition is fair and inclusive.

The initiative stands out for its ability to strengthen energy rights , facilitate access to critical information and contribute to more efficient management of resources, positioning itself as a key tool for moving towards a more sustainable and socially equitable Barcelona.
