UK Charities are being invited to take part in this project in which the online shopping brand will donate a percentage of the cost of some purchases.
AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for shoppers to support charitable organizations every time they shop, at no cost to customers. If you buy products onto AmazonSmile website, you can consistently make a donation when you acquire items that you regularly purchase.
It's really easy to do it. Costumers just have to start by logging onto the website, and the company will donate 0.5% of their purchase to the charity of their choice. There are available almost one million of public charitable organizations.
On your first visit, you can select a charity from about one million choices and tens of millions of products are eligible for AmazonSmile donations. A good way to help organizations for huge shoppers.
At the moment, it is only available for American organizations, however, the scheme was launched in the UK in November with 11 major charities, including Cancer Research UK, the British Red Cross, the RSPCA and Stonewall and UK charities are being invited to take part in this project.
This initiative could be a significant example of good practices to all online companies which would like to set aside some of their benefits to help charities and non-profit organizations.
You can visit the website right now.
