On 4th and 5th October European organizations promoting digital skills will meet in Barcelona at the ALL DIGITAL Summit 2017. Digital facilitators from Xarxa Punt TIC and Òmnia will also attend.
The European ALL DIGITAL community brings together organizations that promote digital skills among citizens. They will be meeting in Barcelona on 4th and 5th October at an event to share and learn from one another. ALL DIGITAL Summit 2017 will offer "an opportunity to explore a series of social digital innovations in the development of competences that citizens, organizations and communities have to embrace to obtain the benefits of the digital society”. Participants will discover and discuss the changing role of telecentres and how they can be enriched by and open approach to innovation.
This will be the tenth annual meeting of the ALL DIGITAL network (formerly known as the Telecentre-Europe), and to celebrate this, it will return to the city that saw its birth: Barcelona. With the logo “Digital Skills for Social Innovation”, the summit will be held in CaixaForum Barcelona (Av. de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 6-8), on 4th and 5th October 2017. The event will be organized by El Teb, in collaboration with the Fundació Esplai and the Generalitat de Catalunya (through Punt TIC).
The summit is conceived for people belonging to the ALL DIGITAL community, but is also open to facilitators from the Xarxa Punt TIC and Xarxa Òmnia, as well as the managers of the telecentres, representatives of local organizations and all those related to Punt TIC. Registration must be completed by filling out this form before 6th September.
Best digital facilitator of the year to be selected
The vent’s programme includes the ALL DIGITAL Awards 2017, where the best digital facilitator, best changemaker, best project in cooperation and best digital resource will be selected.
The deadline to submit candidates to this award is open and will end on 1st August 2017.
Finalists in each category will be invited to participate in the ALL DIGITAL Summit 2017. They will receive prizes and will be able to present their initiatives to an audience of 100 participants.
