The goal of the project is to connect youths from different countries through music, stories and life experiences.

A group of Catalan youths has organised a meeting with other youths from Turkey and the Netherlands through the European project TheRoadStories.

As part of the project there are groups of ten youths from Turkey and the Netherlands that have been participating for six months to contribute to raise awareness, (re)discover connection with ourselves, with others and with our environment, and give a voice to young, creative and conscientious youths.

The group has organised the second in-person meeting of the project in Catalonia, for five days, where youths were able to share with other international participants some of their life experiences, from Barcelona, Santa Coloma de Cervelló, Girona, Montserrat and Castellar del Vallès. This meeting was also an occasion for youths to share their dreams, hopes and talent. Participants made a video summarising the meeting.

The project was promoted by the youth group RoadStories, which is composed of young nomads from the Netherlands who travel in a van around Europe to share and listen to music and stories told by youths and for youths, which they then share on their website. Since November 2021, thanks to this collaboration with AEGED (Turkey) and Teleduca (Barcelona), young locals from Turkey and the Netherlands have been participating in this project through on-line and in-person meetings. The first in-person meeting was held in Aydin (Turkey) in April 2022, and the third and final meeting which was held in Utrecht (Netherlands) from 25 to 30 July this year.
