Fondazione Filantropica AIFR ETS has announced the return of its annual event dedicated to artificial intelligence in the nonprofit sector. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the conference will take place from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Royal Hotel Carlton in Bologna.
The event is designed as a free, in-depth learning opportunity for professionals working across the Third Sector. It will explore emerging trends, practical tools, operational strategies, and policy considerations related to AI, with a strong focus on maintaining organizational mission, human relationships, and social impact at the core of technological adoption.
Under the theme “AI for Nonprofits: Tools, Agents and New Skills for the Third Sector,” the program will feature a diverse lineup of industry experts and practitioners. Topics will range from AI-driven social innovation and digital visibility strategies to the development of ethical AI policies and the integration of AI agents into daily nonprofit operations.
Among the speakers are Chiara Flores d’Arcais, who will discuss AI for social change; Giorgio Taverniti, addressing the evolution of online visibility and SEO in the age of AI; and Mattia Dell’Era alongside Giuseppe Aceto, presenting insights into AI policy development for nonprofits. Additional sessions will include contributions from Gabriele Venturini on AI agents, Alberto Almagioni on data optimization through unconventional AI approaches, and Marco Cecchini on automating internal processes using agent-based AI systems.
