That is the purpose of the international conference ‘Volunteering in the Social Sector in Europe’ will take place in Budapest (Hungary) on 30-31 May 2019.

The Volunteering Hungary – Centre of Social Innovation and the European Volunteer Centre (CEV) organise the conference ‘Volunteering in the Social Sector in Europe’ in order to connect different stakeholders for a responsive modern society to fulfil arising social needs.

The purpose of this conference, which will take place in Budapest on 30-31 May, is to build bridges between the volunteer and the social sector to expose current and future volunteer organizations and social leaders to a vibrant learning experience that promotes best practices, innovative thinking, and awareness of the possible cooperation.

The conference covers the development possibilities of the social institutional system of the Central and Eastern European region to support the development of a social care concept that actively responds to changing needs and which motivates citizens and activates local communities.
