Denmark’s second largest city lived a 2017 full of activities as the European Capital of Culture and this year it holds the European Volunteering Capital. Let’s find out how volunteering is in this Northern European city.
Sligo is delighted to be named the European Volunteering Capital for 2017. Plans are already underway for what promises to be a fantastic year.

The Irish municipality will take over from London (2016) after beating six other candidates. The volunteering capital in 2018 will be Aarhus.
