Four years from the celebration of the II International Congress on Families and Disability, Dincat, Plena Inclusión and the FPCEE de la Universitat Ramon Llull (URL), organise the III International Congress on Family and Disability. Social skills in childhood: An urgent challenge.
The Congress will take place in Barcelona, in the Faculty of Psychology of Blanquerna (Universitat Ramon Llull), from May 31 to June 1.
The aim of the congress is to know and spread experiences focused on promoting interactions between peers, among children with developmental disorders in school and family contexts, from practices based on evidence and contrasted experiences in schools and families.
The main topics during this event will include: Collaboration between professionals and families; Working with parents to improve social and emotional development of children; Practices of effective inclusion, Interventions around social skills in ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder), among others.
The congress will have international and renowned guest speakers, such as Dr. Guralnick and Dr. Sandall from the University of Washington (USA), Dr. Sheridan from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA), and Dr. Björck from the University of Jönköping (Sweden).
