In June 2026, EU Green Week will bring together European organizations to promote nature protection and discuss sustainable policies. This year’s theme is “Investing in Nature – Rewarding for People and Businesses.”
EU Green Week gives organizers full freedom to choose the format of their events. Workshops, debates, webinars, guided tours, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns are just some of the possibilities. Events can be held in person, online, or in a hybrid format that combines both approaches.
The goal is clear: mobilize time, knowledge, skills, spaces, and funding to protect and restore nature, manage resources responsibly, and enhance the well-being of communities and citizens. Key topics include habitat restoration, biodiversity protection, urban renaturalization, sustainable water and soil management, and developing nature-based solutions to environmental challenges.
Although supported by the European Commission, associated events are independent and reflect only the views of their organizers, speakers, and participants.
Organizations interested in joining can consult the published guidelines and start preparing their activities before March 20, 2026. EU Green Week is a unique opportunity to spark public dialogue, engage citizens, and show how investing in nature benefits both people and businesses.
