Families and childhood, protagonists of the 1st International Congress on social-educational intervention

The Fundació Pere Tarrés is organizing the 1^st International Congress on social-educational intervention with families and children in vulnerable situations. The congress will take place on 1^st and 2^nd April at CaixaFòrum in Barcelona (Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 6-8) and aims to be a space to encourage participation and the transfer of programmes and actions with an international approach to social-educational intervention. The congress will combine keynote speeches and debates with presentations on methodologies based on exemplary cases.

The congress will set a framework to discuss current topics such as social protection policies in situations of poverty and vulnerability of families; the rights of the child and families in vulnerable situations and educating and empowering families from a perspective of resilience. Registration is open and can be done using this form until March 1^st.

Presentation of experiences

The congress will compile communications on experiences of social-educational intervention with families with children in a situation of vulnerability. To this end, the organizers invite persons and organizations with social initiatives, public and private, to submit their communications so they can be displayed during the two days of the congress. Information on how to submit experiences is available on the documentation portal until March 3^rd.
