Action Against Hunger is launching a network in Europe to promote social innovation as a tool to create a more inclusive European labour market.
The goal of this network is to help different organizations to successfully carry out inclusive employment and entrepreneurship projects through an exchange of best practices and participation in European programmes. Members and coordinators can be from any EU member state.
The network is co-financed by the European Social Fund in Spain, as part of the 2014-2020 operation programme on Social Inclusion and Social Economy, as a transnational cooperation project.
Annual award for best practices
One of the key elements of the network is the Annual award for best practices in labour inclusion and inclusive entrepreneurship. The call for this year is open, and the deadline to submit candidatures is 16th July. Best practices will be shared and the award will be granted at the European Forum that will take place on 3rd October.
